Google has acquired a Palo Alto start-up called Android, a two year old company that makes software for mobile phones, but little more is known, according to Business Week. A peak at the site suggests it deals with location technology. The purchase brings to Google co-founder Andy Rubin, who previously launched Silicon Valley’s Danger, maker of the Hiptop device.
