Marvel teams up with High Moon Studios for an upcoming game based on Deadpool

At Comic-Con 2012, Marvel Comics announced that Activision and High Moon Studios are working on a Deadpool game.

[Update: A teaser site for the game is now live, along with a brief trailer.]

Marvel Comic’s wise-cracking mercenary will be starring in his very own video game, thanks to developer High Moon Studios. The title was announced at this year’s Marvel Games panel at Comic-Con 2012 in San Diego, Calif. An actor dressed as Deadpool marched through the audience with megaphone in hand, bashing the panel of developers for the fictional “No More Monkey Business” game that was shown on the slide instead.

High Moon Studios, owned by publisher Activision Blizzard, is responsible for 2010’s Transformers: War for Cybertron and its upcoming sequel, Transformers: Fall of Cybertron, that is set to launch this August.
