Bethesda Tango Gameworks Shinji MIkami

Over the last few days, publisher Bethesda Softworks teased a new announcement with short (and vague) video clips. We now know those videos were teasing the new survival horror game from Resident Evil creator Shinji Mikami

This morning, Bethesda released a lengthy teaser video for The Evil Within, which is in development for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. This Evil Within is from Mikami’s Tango Gameworks and is due out in 2014.

“We’re incredibly proud to announce The Evil Within,” said Mikami. “My team and I are committed to creating an exciting new franchise, providing fans the perfect blend of horror and action.”

In the clip, we can see a bunch of scary creatures. A dude with a chest for a head. Another lady-thing covered in blood and pounding at the window. A handyman preparing his evil barbed-wire armor.

Bethesda will reveal more about the game Monday. Until then, feel free to speculate in the comments.
