If you love soccer, North America isn’t normally the best place to live. Today, Nintendo is making it better.
It took a while (five years and a dozen games released between Japan and Europe), but the international hit franchise Inazuma Eleven has finally made it to North America.
The first installment of the soccer-role-playing game series was originally on the Nintendo DS. It released during 2008 in Japan and 2011 in Europe and the U.K. The game features character development via leveling up and upgrading stats, tactical soccer matches, and special moves that come with over-the-top visual displays, such as “flaming tornado kicks” (it is a Japanese role-playing game, after all).
It will hit the 3DS eShop today and cost $20.
