Gamers might need their manual dexterity for more than just headshots on Valentine’s Day.

SugarDVD — the Netflix of adult films — revealed to GamesBeat that porn viewing increases across all devices on the romantic holiday for couples. In fact, the average minutes watched per user increases 43 percent compared to the average day.

The website has an app that works on devices like iPad and consoles, and people can use that to stream porn. The company found that the PlayStation 3 sees the biggest jump in use, with SugarDVD subscribers 18 percent more likely to watch using the Sony console. Apple’s iPad sees the second biggest spike at 15 percent. Xbox 360 and Android are third and fourth at 9 percent and 8 percent, respectively.

“We theorize that since our service is being used by more and more couples, couples are finding our unlimited adult app to be a convenient, last-minute Valentine’s Day gift,” SugarDVD spokesperson Rebecca Bolen told GamesBeat.

The categories that viewers watch might support that hypothesis. Valentine’s Day viewers tend to boot up videos tagged as “couples,” “all-girl,” and “amateur.” Bolen notes that these are often “female-friendly” categories.
