Apple updates Safari with Spotlight searching, tab views, & a new JavaScript compiler

Today, Apple announced a complete redesign of the Safari browser, set to debut with the next major release of OS X, “Yosemite.”

The redesigned browser will ship with a new “tab view” feature, which organizes browser tabs; Spotlight search integration with Google Knowledge Graph-like features; and new sharing functionality.
