Apple announces iOS 8.1: The Camera Roll returns & the masses get Apple Pay

Today, Apple announced iOS 8.1, an update designed to resolve the many issues users encountered when upgrading to iOS 8.0.

Apple said that the 8.1 update introduces support for Apple Pay — its new mobile payments service — and a new universal “iCloud iPhoto Library” that syncs full-size photos across devices using iCloud storage. The Camera Roll also returns to iOS with the 8.1 update.
