The second trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens is here.
Timed to the opening of Celebration, the official Star Wars convention, which is being held in Anaheim, California for the next few days, the two-minute trailer, which was released this morning on Twitter and YouTube, expands on the teaser video Disney and LucasFilm released in November. That first trailer was released initially on iTunes.

The trailer was dropped at the very end of an hour-long keynote address featuring director J.J. Abrams, producer Kathleen Kennedy, and many of the cast of The Force Awakens, including veterans Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Peter Mayhew, and Anthony Daniels (who played, respectively, Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Chewbacca, and C-3PO) and newcomers John Boyega, Daisey Ridley, and Oscar Isaac. Also showing up on stage were a group wearing the film’s reimagined Stormtrooper uniforms.
