LOS ANGELES — EA showed the first trailer for the new Mass Effect during its pre-E3 press briefing today — and it took us somewhere new to the lyrics of Johnny Cash.

Titled Mass Effect Andromeda, the trailer shows a man in familiar N7 armor viewing different landscapes in a viewscreen and then exploring a desert landscape. As the name implies, this game takes place in the Andromeda galaxy. The previous three were set in our galaxy, so we can expect Andromeda to feature new locations and aliens.

It will come out holiday 2016. It is developed by BioWare, the role-playing game studio that created the original Mass Effect trilogy.

The trailer was the first thing EA showed at its press briefing, and the crowd cheered wildly when the familiar N7 logo appeared on the character’s armor.
