Investor Chris Sacca wants Jack Dorsey as CEO of both Twitter and Square

Investor Chris Sacca, known for sharing his opinions publicly, has stated his preference for who should be the next CEO of Twitter: current interim CEO Jack Dorsey.

The announcement comes after Bloomberg ran a story saying Square advisors are prepping for the possibility that Dorsey will leave Square in favor of Twitter, the other company where Dorsey is chief exec. That would leave Square in an awkward position ahead of a rumored IPO.

However, Sacca isn’t suggesting that Dorsey abandon Square.

Dorsey has unsuccessfully tried to lead both companies simultaneously before. But Sacca is saying that because the executive teams at both Twitter and Square are strong, Dorsey now has the flexibility to run both companies effectively.
