Rhode Island startup Drive Time Metrics announced today that it took in a $2.1 million seed investment to further develop its technology, which helps monetize connected car data.

The funding includes a $250,000 commitment from the Slater Technology Fund, followed by angel investments from Street Capital, Sand Hill Angels, and The Valley Fund.

“Drive Time Metrics has built a strong core team and developed an impressive new technology platform,” said Slater’s Thorne Sparkman.
