You’ve already run out of Destiny 2 content, and you’ve only played it for 200 hours! Well, Bungie sympathizes with your plight, and its big Curse of Osiris expansion is due out December 5. That should give you time to play some other holiday releases … or to yell at the development studio about the lack of content on the internet.
Bungie officially revealed Curse of Osiris at the PlayStation Paris Games Week event. In addition to the date, the studio released a trailer that shows off some of the add-on content’s gameplay and story. It will have you fighting on Mercury to hunt down a rogue Guardian named Osiris. This will mean new missions for players to explore with their friends, and it should give Bungie an opportunity to tweak Destiny 2 based on feedback from fans after the core game’s launch.
“Curse of Osiris is Destiny 2’s first expansion, and it sends you back to the stars to solve a new mystery,” reads the description on the official trailer. “The Vex are on the march, and our only hope to stop them may lie with Osiris, the notorious heretic and most powerful Warlock in the history of the Last City. On your quest to find him, you’ll meet new characters, explore new places, tackle new challenges, and earn some sweet new loot.”
This new content should come as PC players are starting to run out of content, but the wait could likely cause some pain for console fans who have already wrung Bungie’s sci-fi shooter dry.
