New pics of Apple spaceship campus reveal massive size

Apple is building a crazy, new, gigantic, round-shaped campus, and the tech giant just published a new aerial view of the thing Tuesday.

The photo appeared at the city of Cupertino’s website, and this view gives a clearer idea of the sheer size of the thing. It’s massive.

Reports from a few weeks ago say the new structure will feature an underground parking lot, curved glass panels all around, and a private auditorium (totally not surprising — Applers love their star-studded movie nights).

Apple and its architects (Foster + Partners) want to create a big donut shaped building set on a huge square of preserved or recreated nature. So the curved windows will look out on trees, mainly. Reports say that on the inside of the donut, orchards from California’s past will be recreated. Reports of a robotic California Condor preserve are unconfirmed.
