Meerkat confirms $14M raise as Twitter launches competitor Periscope
Today fledging livestreaming startup Meerkat confirmed it’s raised “around $14 million” in funding from Greylock Partners and others. Company founder Ben Rubin confirmed the $14 million figure during a live Meerkat stream.
Memorado raises $3.3M to become a brain-training game leader
Brain-training games website Memorado has raised $3.3 million in a Series A investment round. Creathor Venture and Global Founders Capital lead the investment, with participation from Sunstone Capital and other angels. With the $1.3 million the company collected last year, it has raised $4.6 million to date.
