Cloud security startup Zenedge raises $4M led by Canada’s Telus

Zenedge announced today that it took in a $4 million series B round led by Canadian telecommunications company Telus. The Los Angeles-based startup said that it will use capital to expand its services in Canada and Europe by adding new DDoS mitigation services in Toronto and Amsterdam.

“Telus is the best strategic partner for Zenedge as we share the same goal of ensuring security of web applications and networks for businesses,” said Yuri Frayman, Zenedge’s chief executive.

Telus will now offer Zenedge’s services to its customers, the startup added.

Zenedge has raised at least $7.5 million to date.
