Is Hitman’s stripper nuns trailer less offensive with claymation cats? (video)

Back in May, Hitman Absolution developer IO Interactive (Kane & Lynch) came under fire for a CG trailer featuring stripper nuns being brutally murdered. YouTube commenters have now classified anyone speaking out against the trailer as “feminists,” but I disliked the trailer because it was pointless.

YouTube commenters have now classified anyone speaking out against the trailer as “feminists,” but I disliked the trailer because it was pointless. “Hey, check out these cool new enemies that you might fight in the ga — oh, wait, they’re all dead. Nevermind.” It’d be like showing the shark getting blown up at the end of a Jaws teaser.

The original Hitman trailer (and the game itself) would be infinitely more enticing if the so-called Saints posed even the slightest threat to Agent 47 … or if they were claymation cats. Unfortunately, IO’s lack of vision can never reverse the former, but Lee Hardcastle has provided the latter:
