Chen Amit is a veteran tech executive, repeat entrepreneur, and the co-founder and CEO at Tipalti, the global payables automation platform provider. Prior to Tipalti, Chen was CEO of Atrica, a Carrier Ethernet company that Nokia-Siemens acquired. Before Atrica, Chen was co-founder and CEO of Verix, a provider of business intelligence software. At ECI Telecom, Chen founded their ADSL business unit and led it from inception to $100 million in annual sales. He earned a BSc from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology and an MBA from INSEAD.
He and co-founder Oren Zeev founded Tipalti in 2010 when the CEO of one of his portfolio companies told them that global mass payments was a manual nightmare and that no technology solution existed to solve it. Today, Tipalti has grown to over 500 loyal customers, with 100% year over year new business growth, and has grown employee headcount by more than 50% in 2018 with plans to grow by over 50% yet again in 2019 across both their San Mateo, California and Israel offices. Chen has built an impressive team and has brought folks onto their leadership team from NetSuite, Coupa, Bain, McKinsey, KKR, Intuit, Worldpay, Fiserv, and Technion.
