Stephen Hays is the founder and Managing Partner of Deep Space Ventures, a VC firm in Dallas, TX. Previously, Stephen spent 6+ years as an investment banker, in New York City and Dallas, covering Multi-Industrial, Aerospace & Defense, and Transportation companies with an emphasis on M&A and capital markets.
Stephen relies on his prior experience advising companies of all sizes on capital structure, capital raising, M&A and strategic alternatives to be a value-added investor. As an early stage investor, Stephen has experience investing in, and advising, B2B Enterprise SaaS and esports startups at the seed and series-A stages.
Stephen received his bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point and received his MBA from the Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt.
