Tom Westerlin

Tom Westerlin is a creative director with an emphasis on emerging tech and a drive to connect brands and users through authentic experiences. He is currently leading interactive experiences, VR and AR projects at NYC-based creative studio Nice Shoes, where he gets to combine his talent and passion for gaming, design, production and directing, having successfully launched a number of immersive experiences including the AICP and Ciclope-nominated Mio Garden for the HTC Vive, Flexon Eyewear’s mobile VR application, Apple’s keynote featured application Boulevard AR, an immersive travel experience for Esteé Lauder, and a 360 marketing video for Blink Fitness. Tom has been a sought after speaker on the topic of immersive content, having presented at AICP, VRTO, NAB, Creative Tech Week, NYVR and at the corner of 25th and Park Ave., where he’ll talk to anyone about volumetric video, webAR and linear vs. nonlinear narrative storytelling.
