Just a few days after a leak saying that GoPro would release a new GoPro HERO4 mountable camera, new leaks today say that the company will also release a more modestly-priced camera called the HERO.
Reports say that the new camera will be very similar in looks and feature set to the more expensive HERO4.
The GoPro HERO4 Black edition features 4K/30 video, and a Silver edition features a touch display. The HERO, on the other hand, has neither of those features, and also no wireless connectivity through Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, Petapixel reports.
The HERO will sport 1080p30 and 720p60 video capture. A “QuikCapture” feature allows lets the user click one button on the camera to power up and begin shooting. The best video footage is often the most unexpected, so this feature is likely to be greeted warmly by action video enthusiasts.

Petapixel believes the new line of cameras will be announced October 8, but still no word on pricing.
