Google CEO Sundar Pichai has apparently become the latest high-profile Silicon Valley victim of a hacking group called OurMine.
On Monday, the group broke into Pichai’s Quora account, which then gave them access to his Twitter feed. The hack was spotted by The Next Web, which received this statement from the group:
“We are just testing people security (sic), we never change their passwords, we did it because there is other hackers can hack them and change everything.”
I’m sure Pichai is grateful for their help.

The hackers accessed his Quora account, which then allowed them to tweet automatically to his Twitter account. The tweets have been deleted, but TNW has a screengrab here.
The same group was also responsible for hacking Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg a few weeks ago. OurMine claims its intention are benign, and that it’s just trying to promote its security services.
