Samsung's new high-res NotePro and TabPro tablets are all about productivity

With its latest tablets, Samsung is trying its hardest to draw in the power users.

The company is taking the wraps off the NotePro and TabPro, two tablet lines that it says satisfies the needs of both consumers and creators.

The 12.2-inch Note Pro, which comes equipped with Samsung’s S Pen, features a wide (1,680-by-1,050) display, making it ideal for both making and consuming content, Samsung says.

The S Pen-less TabPro, which has the same screen resolution as the NotePro, comes in 12.2-,10.1-, and 8.4-inch configurations. It’s all about options.

Just as notable as the tablet hardware, though, is the software. Both tablets come equipped with Samsung’s “Magazine” interface, which lets users run a max of four apps on-screen at one time.

Productivity is, again, huge here. Samsung is equipping the devices with $700 worth of enterprise software, including Cisco WebEx Meetings, Dropbox, and its own Samsung e-Meeting software, which shares screens to other devices.
