Amazon Web Services is getting more serious about its Zocalo cloud file-sharing service, today announcing the release of new mobile apps for Zocalo.
And the service can now handle files as large as 5TB, according to a blog post announcing the Zocalo updates.
Clearly, Amazon wants to show its strengths relative to popular file-sharing applications from Box, Dropbox, and other companies hungry for users and paying customers. Android and iOS apps for Zocalo are certainly a reasonable addition following the initial announcement of the service earlier this year — and arguably something Amazon should have made available from the get-go.
Zocalo became available for everyone to use just three months ago.
