I know what you’re thinking: “Los Angeles, Calif. always has cool video game art exhibits!"
…And now it has another. Well, at least this time, Eric Nakamura, owner of the Giant Robot store and the Giant Robot 2 (GR2) gallery, is hosting one during this year’s E3 industry conference.
If you plan to be in Southern California next week for E3, or in general during the month of June, I recommend checking out the space. Eric was still accepting some last-minute submissions when I interviewed him for this video, so the gallery walls weren’t quite ready yet.
Expect it to look like some kind of gamers’ MOMA, however, come this Saturday, June 2, during the opening reception from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. The show, which features pieces from 80 different artists, lasts until June 27, 2012 at GR2 (2062 Sawtelle Blvd., Los Angeles, 90025).
Check out the event's Facebook page for more information.
Update: Preview a couple of awesome pieces and the artists who made them on the Giant Robot web page.
