Microsoft is livestreaming its developer event Connect(); 2016 for the next three days. If you’re not in New York City on November 16, 17, or 18, don’t worry, you can watch it right here.

Last year, Microsoft open-sourced Visual Studio Code, launched the free Visual Studio Dev Essentials program, and debuted Microsoft Graph.

This year is expected to be even bigger. Microsoft even managed to leak some of its news: Visual Studio is coming to the Mac.

The underlying message is the same as the last two years: Give developers the tools they need regardless of what platform or device they’re using. Microsoft continues to move away from being a company that limited developers to just its offerings.
