Today Yahoo announced that it will launch an in-app content sharing feature for Tumblr.
During the Yahoo mobile developer conference today in New York, Simon Khalaf, Yahoo senior vice president of publishing products, said that Flurry would be integrating Tumblr into its mobile developer kit.
“This will allow consumers to create content anywhere they want and have it searchable in Tumblr,” Khalaf said.

Tumblr already provides a content-sharing icon, but with this new integration, Yahoo is pushing the social button to Flurry’s 720,000 native apps. Content shared to Tumblr will appear in full — not in an abbreviated post or as a blue link.
