Spark Capital leads $15M round for San Francisco drone startup Lily

Camera drone startup Lily announced today that it’s raised $15 million after hosting a crowdfunding campaign on its site. While announcing the new funds, the New York Times wrote, the company said it’s delaying the “delivery of its drone, which people have paid $499 to $799 to preorder,” by a couple of months.

Ambi Climate wants $2M to become the ‘Nest of Asia’

Going into 2016, Ambi Climate is looking to raise $2 million. Dongguan (China), rather than the better-known Shenzhen, remains its manufacturing hub. As all of the company’s valuable IP lives on the software side, founder Julian Lee isn’t fearful of IP theft on the hardware side.
