Disney Interactive is giving some love to Android gamers today with the launch of its Disney Infinity: Toy Box 2.0 mobile app for Android devices.
The app is part of the larger ecosystem of Disney Infinity, the hybrid toy-game product line that takes toys into the digital age. With the app, you can play around with a Toy Box, where you can create your own worlds, games, and landscapes with Disney’s characters.
The Android app has all of the tools and enhanced features of Toy Box 2.0 from Disney Infinity (2.0 Edition), as well as multiplayer functionality so mobile gamers can create one-of-a-kind Toy Boxes together using their favorite Marvel and Disney characters, vehicles, settings, and items.
You can create something on an Android tablet and transfer it to other platforms for further editing and play. The characters include Marvel Super Heroes, including some from The Avengers, Spider-Man, and Guardians of the Galaxy.
