It opened with an official acknowledgment that The Last Guardian is happening, and everyone thought that was about as crazy as it could get until Yu Suzuki showed up and broke Kickstarter with his campaign to fund a third Shenmue after a 14-year break for the series.
Plus, we got news of a Final Fantasy game that looks like “My First Final Fantasy.” And that was the opposite kind of mind-blowing.
