Origin Spring Sale arrives before Steam’s with Inquisition at 50% off

It must be spring cleaning time at Origin. Today a new Spring Sale launched with discounts up to 50% select PC gaming titles. The percentage might not seem on par with say, the Steam Winter/Summer sales… but it’s making solid discounts on several recent releases like a drop to $30 on Dragon Age: Inquisition which matches the popular RPG’s lowest price ever offered at Origin.

There are plenty of other hot deals to find in Origin’s sale, including Battlefield 4. The sale cut down the BF4 base game + Premium pack to only $24.99, tying the lowest price ever offered at Origin. Normally just the Battlefield 4 Premium pack would cost $40 alone, so there’s some serious coin to be saved. Another top pick in the sale would be The Sims 4, whose drop from $60 to $29.99 is well-timed with the release of the first “Get to Work” expansion pack earlier this week.

Beyond Origin’s wave of discounts, there are two other notable PC gaming sales going on right now. Today the Sweden-based retailer GamersGate launched an Ubisoft Week sale which will launch new discounts every 48 hours. Currently it’s making 75% off deals on the Assassin’s Creed series. If you’re a COD fan, you might check out NewEgg’s Activision sale, which right now offers discount of up to 75% off Call of Duty games.
