Capcom announces Resident Evil 6 collections for fans who like some Resident Evil with their Resident Evil

Capcom is offering Resident Evil super-fans some special bundles for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 when the latest installment in the survival-horror series launches on October 2.

Capcom is offering Resident Evil super-fans some special bundles for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 when the latest installment in the survival-horror series launches on October 2, according to a blog post by community manager Brett Elston. Don’t worry: They will be way better deals than that crazy ¥105,000 ($1,293) Collector’s Edition Japan is getting.

Both collections will cost $89.99 and will include codes for digital downloads of earlier games in the franchise. Xbox 360 owners can pick up the “Resident Evil 6 Archives,” which contains:

  • Resident Evil 6
  • Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition (which includes the game and all downloadable content)
  • Resident Evil 4 HD
  • Resident Evil Code: Veronica X HD
  • Resident Evil Degeneration (the 2008 computer-animated movie)

The PlayStation 3’s “Resident Evil 6 Anthology” is a little more comprehensive and will include:
