Google is no idiot. It knows people are searching the Internet for information about U.S. presidential candidates. So Google went over to the White House and filmed a video of the place.
It’s more immersive than your average video, though. It’s a 360-degree virtual reality video. If you have an Android phone, you can watch it with a Google Cardboard headset. You can get the 360-degree effect on iOS devices, too.
Google made the video with its Jump virtual reality video platform and a sophisticated 16-camera rig.

Google wants this sort of content to be useful for education, so it made a Google Expedition for schools participating in its Expeditions Pioneer Program.
And if you like this type of VR content, you’re lucky, because Google wants to make more of it.
“We’ll continue to release new videos that highlight the potential of Jump,” a spokesman told VentureBeat in an email. “However, we are looking to get the tech in the hands of more creators.”
