Siri search on the new Apple TV now extends to include Apple Music, thanks to a tvOS update (version 9.1) pushed out Tuesday. It comes earlier than expected — Apple had previously said it would bring the update sometime early next year.
Apple rolled out iOS 9.2 on the same day, bringing with it Arabic language support for Siri, as well as introducing watchOS 2.1 for the Apple Watch.
As to the tvOS update, Apple does not currently release an update change log, which means it’s hard to provide a comprehensive list of what’s new/tweaked without first digging around on the system itself.
However, 9to5Mac spotted that “Apple’s Remote app also works with the new Apple TV for the first time… [enabling] text input from iPhones and iPads.”
