Mobile Future is calling on America’s burgeoning tech talent to share their cutting edge mobile products — and be rewarded. The application period is officially open for The Mobileys, a national innovation competition that recognizes inspiring entrepreneurs whose early-stage wireless apps, services, and products have the potential to make the world a better place.
For the second year, Mobile Future is challenging America’s startup pioneers, tech communities, and kitchen-table coders to vie for $20,000 in prizes. The first place prize of $10,000 will be awarded to the most innovative submission that best harnesses the power of mobile technologies to create lasting social benefit. Also awarded will be a second place prize of $5,000, a third place of $2,500, and a People’s Choice Award of $2,500.
Eligibility is simple: individual innovators and early-stage start-ups must have recently launched — or soon will — a mobile app, service, or product with a public benefit. Applications will be accepted through August 18, 2014, and winners will be announced in Washington, DC, in October. Each entry will be evaluated by an official judging panel comprised of distinguished individuals from the worlds of tech, mobile, venture capital,ed and angel funding.
So, whether you’re from the Silicon Valley, the Ohio River Valley, or the Hudson Valley, now’s the time to put your game-changing mobile contribution on the table. Show us what’s fueling our mobile revolution and driving our mobile future.
