Sprint lashes out at T-Mobile with new $350 trade-in offer

Sprint is welcoming T-Mobile customers in the U.S. with open arms and a sweet new deal. Starting today, when T-Mobile customers switch over to Sprint, they can get $200-$350 for trading in their phone.

Sprint is hitting back hard against a major push from T-Mobile to scoop-up iPhone users from other carriers. Last fall, T-Mobile launched a campaign promising to beat any device trade-in offer from AT&T, Verizon, or Sprint. Though the campaign was likely targeting Verizon and AT&T, who offer more expensive mobile phone plans, it seems Sprint felt the pinch.

Sprint’s new trade-in deal can also be combined with its standing offer to buy customers out of their existing contracts. The carrier also promises that its unlimited talk, text, and high-speed data plan undercuts T-Mobile’s by $20 a month.
