Reddit said today that its comment threads are now embeddable.
In a blog post, Reddit said the new feature makes it “easy to showcase Reddit comments on your website or blog without having to take screenshots or copy [and] paste long blocks of text. Embedded comments will respect the comment author’s edits and deletions, and they’ll always feature a link back to the original comment thread and subreddit.”
Reddit said the feature has been in beta for some time.
To embed a thread, go to a comment’s permalink page, Reddit said, and click on the “embed” link. That will create a snippet of code that you can use to insert the thread onto your blog or web page. Reddit said it’s also possible to optionally include a parent comment.

Reddit, which calls itself the “front page of the Internet,” is home to one of the largest online communities in the world. It said that over the last month, it had 151.7 million unique users who viewed 6.66 billion pages.
